PolyMax™ PC-FR is a fire-retardant PC filament (UL94V-0/1.5 mm) displaying excellent strength, toughness and heat resistance whilst also achieving a V0 score in the UL94 flame retardancy test. PolyMax™ PC-FR can reduce the intensity of a fire or slow/stop the spread of fire due to its self-extinguishing characteristic, opening new applications in the automotive, railway and aerospace industries. Like PolyMax™ PC, PolyMax™ PC-FR is produced with Polymakers Nano-reinforcement technology.

PolyMax™ PC-FR not only offers excellent properties and print quality, but also improved printability when compared to other PC filaments. Enclosure and 90°C heated bed required; an actively heated chamber is also highly recommended.
