Alumina 4N Resin is a high-density and high-purity technical ceramic 3D printing material with exceptional performance in extreme environments: thermally resistant, hard, abrasion resistant, mechanically strong, and chemically inert.
Alumina 4N Resin has a total shelf life of 3 months at room temperature. Refrigerating your resin (at -10–4 °C) can add up to 12 months of additional shelf life. We recommend refrigerating Alumina 4N Resin. Please note: Formlabs Alumina 4N is made to order, has about 8 to 10 Week lead time to Australia.
This product requires a complex, multi-day workflow and extra equipment, including kilns, to achieve a sintered alumina part. Please read the Alumina 4N Quick Start Guide before proceeding. If this is your first time using a Formlabs 3D printer, we strongly recommend using a general purpose resin, such as Clear Resin, before printing with Alumina 4N resin.
