Autodesk Fusion 360 - Mesh Editting
Autodesk's cloud-based 3d Modeling platform Fusion 360 has become well-loved by many a 3D designer. The recent Autodesk update for Fusion 360 now includes mesh editing. Before, users had to switch between Mesh editing programs like MeshMixer to modify STL and OBJ files, but now all mesh editing can be easily done right in Fusion. This makes Fusion 360 the first software of its kind to incorporate mesh editing as part of a complete product design platform. 3D Printing onto Fabric
Did you know you can use your Ultimaker to print directly on fabric? You could maybe create a company T-shirt or perhaps add some unique 3 dimensional designs to your T-shirt ? You can 3D print directly onto fabric with your Ultimaker using standard PLA, ABS, or other regular filament. This method works for printing on relatively porous fabrics with holes like cotton. We do recommend using flexible filament, this way the printed object will be able to flex with the movement of the fabric. Avoid using thick fabrics as it may not adhere properly. 3D printing expert Joris van Tuberge took an interesting approach to 3D Printing by using PostNL to deliver an Ultimaker while its printing to a Eric Vloeimans, awell known trumpeter in Netherlands Joris had designed a 3D printable trumpet and created a custom package for the Ultimaker 3D printer, to allow it to be powered and operated inside the cardboard box. Grant Imahara, Former MythBuster, along with engineer Allen Pan in partnership with Marvel and Mouser, takes on the challenge to create working versions of Captain America: Civil War weapons.
